I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1990 and I spent most of my childhood outdoors, making mischief and mud-cakes. I took a liking to the arts in High school and was awarded a bursary to study Visual Arts at the Open Window College of Visual Communication. In 2012 I graduated top of my class with a Degree in Film and 3D Animation and a Diploma in Graphic Design.

My fist Job was at a lovely little studio, Bugbox Animation, where I was very privileged work under the guidance of our brilliant director Tim Argall.

After that I joined Triggerfish Animation Studios in Cape Town where I worked on Stickman, Revolting Rhymes, Highway Rat and Zog.

In 2018 I moved to Paris, France where I'm currently working as an Animator at Illumination Mac Guff on The Secret Life of Pets 2.

 

I have experience with working in the entire 3D pipeline but early on I decided that my passion and focus lies with Character Animation.

For me the battle lies between making things look cool and making characters feel uniquely sincere and special.
